The Adelaide 36ers are pleased to announce the continuation of the club’s partnership with Sports College SA, reaffirming a shared commitment to developing young talent and supporting pathways for students pursuing careers in sport.
The ongoing partnership will see Sports College SA continue to provide students with unique opportunities to engage with the club’s athletes, coaches, and staff to gain valuable insights into the professional sporting environment.
Through the collaboration, students will have access to practical learning experiences in areas such as athlete development, sports management, marketing, and community engagement, bridging the gap between education and elite sport.
Adelaide 36ers General Manager of Social Impact and Community, Ross Wait, said the club was proud to continue working with an organisation that nurtures the future leaders of the sporting industry.
“We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Sports College SA,” said Wait.
“The College’s commitment to education, personal growth and providing pathways for young people in sport aligns perfectly with what we stand for as a club. Together, we’re helping to build the next generation of sports professionals, both on and off the court.
“Our relationship continues to grow each year and we’re looking forward to working closely with the team at Sports College SA to inspire and support young South Australians who are passionate about sport.”

Sports College SA’s partnership with the 36ers reflects a broader focus on community and development initiatives that encourage students to learn from real world experiences within a professional sporting organisation.
The partnership provides students opportunities to gain volunteer experience and work placements with the 36ers, to assist in the delivery of community programs as coaches in collaboration with the club and to experience working on NBL gamedays.
“Partnering with the Adelaide 36ers allows us to deliver a truly game-changing opportunity for young people,” said Sports College SA Principal Matthew Daly.
“By combining a passion for basketball with meaningful pathways and SACE completion, we’re empowering students to learn in ways that feel authentic, connected, and inspiring.
“This partnership is about more than sport - it’s about equipping our students with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive in whatever future they choose.”
